On November 11 and 12, 2020, Troy business attorney, Mark C. Rossman, hosted the Third Annual Symposium on Corporate Oppression and Business Law.

The program was entitled “Oppression in the Age of Pandemic” and was co-sponsored by the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section, Wayne State University Law School and the Wayne State Journal of Business Law.

The two-night program featured 25 speakers, including business lawyers, judges, and law professors, who presented and engaged in dialogue on a wide range of business law topics.

The program was hosted for the third year in a row by Mr. Rossman in Grand Rapids, at Fortz Legal, and livestreamed by Zoom to over 100 registrants, who enjoyed 8 full hours of discussion and presentations, including a Judge’s Roundtable and a moving farewell tribute to Hon. James Alexander, who is retiring from the Oakland County Business Court at the end of this year.

PJ Muer Productions, of Nashville, provided the voiceover and musical transitions for the program.
