On Wednesday, January 15, 2020, Mark C. Rossman, of Rossman Saxe, P.C. in Troy Emceed the Second Annual Symposium on Corporate Oppression in Detroit. The well attended event was held in the Spencer M. Partrich auditorium at Wayne State University Law School and co-hosted by the Business Law Section of the Michigan State Bar of Michigan and the Wayne Business Law Journal.

The esteemed panel included, in order of presentation, Rossman, Douglas Moll (University of Houston Law Center), E. Powell Miller (The Miller Firm), Daniel Quick (Dickinson Wright) and Hon. Lita Popke (Wayne County Business Court). The symposium explored effective techniques and tools in both prosecuting and defending corporate oppression and fiduciary actions. The discussion also focused on fiduciary responsibility in the corporate context and the remedies available for minority business partners when they are oppressed by a controlling majority.
