  6. 10th annual Pull! for Kids event on September 19 supports Child Safe Michigan’s foster care and mentoring programs for at-risk children

    Royal Oak, Mich. — Child Safe Michigan, an affiliate of Judson Center, is pleased to announce the 10th anniversary of its Pull! for Kids event on Thursday, September 19, at the Detroit Gun Club in Walled Lake. The annual sporting clays tournament raises funds for Child Safe Michigan to continue the programs and services that ensure abused and at-risk children in Southeast Michigan live healthy and happy lives. Last year, the organization provided foster care services to 87 children, matched 62 mentors and mentees, and helped 23 children find forever homes through adoption.

The care package drive kicks off on Sunday, September 8, 2019 during White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery’s Fourth Annual Patriots Race to benefit the Michigan Wounded & Returning Warriors Program. Race participants are encouraged to donate items to the care package drive.
