    Livonia, Mich. — ASE, one of the nation’s oldest and largest employer associations providing people-management information and services to Michigan employers, released the organization’s 2020 Compensation Survey results at its annual Compensation and Benefits Conference last week. It’s the 68th year that ASE has published the annual survey. The findings were released by Mary E. Corrado, president and CEO of ASE.

    Community Housing Network (CHN), a nonprofit organization providing housing resources and affordable housing support throughout Oakland and Macomb Counties, hosts its first Virtual Run for a Cause. Throughout the month of July, participants can run, or walk, at their convenience to help raise funds for the work that CHN does throughout the year.

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich.,  – Eleven Southeast Michigan urban farming groups received $75,000 in funding from the Mahindra Automotive North America Urban Agriculture Grant Program this week. The grants address COVID-19’s impact on locally available food supplies in inner-city areas in Detroit, Flint, and Pontiac, especially for households facing the dual challenge of keeping family members healthy and putting wholesome food on their tables.

  5. Community Housing Network Receives United Way Grant to Offer Rental Assistance to Oakland and Macomb County Individuals Facing Eviction and Homelessness Due to COVID-19

    Community Housing Network (CHN) was recently awarded a grant by the United Way of Southeast Michigan to support Metro Detroit individuals in need of housing assistance due to the COVID-19 health crisis. The grant allows CHN to increase its capacity meeting the demand for homeless response, emergency housing assistance and prevention.
