Brian W. Boyd joins Secrest Wardle’s Troy location as an Associate. He is a member of the Firm’s Motor Vehicle Litigation and Premises Liability Practice Groups. Mr. Boyd has substantial insurance defense and employment related litigation experience. His knowledge encompasses pre-litigation through litigation. Additionally, Mr. Boyd has experience in developing and executing litigation strategy in defense of complex medical claims.
Mr. Boyd earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. During law school, he served as an executive editor of the Law Review Board and was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity William Howard Taft Senate. Mr. Boyd received multiple honors while in law school, including The Order of the Barristers, and is a member of the University of Toledo chapter of the Order of the Coif, recognizing law students who have attained a high grade of scholarship. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science – Prelaw, minor in Philosophy and Law, from Michigan State University.
