PONTIAC, Mich., July 23, 2021 – Tickets are now available for the inaugural Woodward Dream Show, premiering in less than a month at M1 Concourse, the premier garage and racetrack facility located just off Woodward Avenue in Pontiac. The two-day event features the best hot rods, muscle cars, race cars and cruisers in a juried show and competition, plus food and entertainment.

Guests at the show will enjoy what is missing from other Woodward events:

• Juried vehicles racing on M1’s 1.5-mile Performance Track
• The opportunity able to get up close with over 200 significant cars that helped shape Woodward Cruisin’ and American car culture
• Premium food and spirits options with a Detroit theme, included as part of your ticket

All significant cars will be on display in the arena, where one can get up close, take pictures, and meet the owners.

Woodward Dream Show passes include parking, and the day’s food, beverage, and spirits at the Taste of Woodward Pavilion with fare that celebrates the Motor City. Passes are $100 per day for adults, $50 for 13–20-year-old; and free to those 12 and under. Two-day adult passes are $180. All passes are online at

The menu varies daily and includes favorites like the Motor City Angus Hamburger, M1 Black Bean Burger, Kowalski Sausage Company Coney Dog, Woodward Avenue Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the Greektown Wrap. Finish it off with a supreme sundae of Avon Donuts, Sander’s Hot Fudge, Rainbow Sprinkles, and Chantilly Whipped Cream.

Each Daily Pass includes:

• (2) entrees with sides for all ages (vegetarian meals available)
• (4) alcoholic drinks (beer, wine, and spirits) for adults 21 and older
• Unlimited water and soda for all ages

There is a special ticketed event Friday evening, Rev Up the Grille, Cigars and Cars which includes an elevated culinary experience, cigars, craft beer, specialty drinks, spirits, and live music. The fun starts at 6 p.m. following the “M1 Concourse Insiders’ Garage” and runs until 9 p.m. with a separate $200 ticket.

Newly-Added Dream Show Activities

Friday, August 20 4:00- 5:00 p.m.
Automotive Heritage Awards, presented by the Automotive Heritage Foundation, whose mission is to honor and promote automotive history, culture, and aesthetics. Guests will be able to enjoy the presentation of awards at what is typically a private event. Friday, August 20 5:00- 6:00 p.m.
M1 Concourse’s “Insiders’ Garage”: Conversations that go under the hood with auto experts and insiders. Speakers include The Ring Brothers, Ken Lingenfelter, Bob Larivee and others.

Both Friday events are free and included with a Dream Show Pass. Patrons can enjoy food and beverages during the presentations.

Movie Car Collection
Includes classic and beloved vehicles like Speed Racer, the Batmobile, Munster Coach, Cheech and Chong’s cruiser, the “Monkeymobile” and others.

RC Track for Kids
Pros will be on hand for demonstrations and instructions on all EV cars.

Kid Friendly Menu Offerings
Hot dogs and burgers are available throughout the day and included with Festival Pass. Children under 12 are admitted at no charge.

Convenient Parking Included

Convenient parking is available for attendees and exhibitors. For Woodward Dream Show attendees, parking is included with all show passes and special events, at a designated location off Gillespie Street (see map). Shuttles are provided from lots to M1 Concourse. Admission to the event will occur at the parking site. Guests are admitted to the show before boarding the shuttle after providing credentials verification. Shuttles will run continuously during event hours allowing guests to return to their vehicle at their convenience. Maps of parking and the site are available online.

Volunteers Still Wanted

Volunteers are still needed for the event. Volunteers get front row exposure to the excitement and with only a 4.5 – 5-hour time commitment, they still have time to enjoy the show. They receive orientation and training, a shirt and hat, and become a member of an exclusive alumni with invitations to volunteer for future events. Rain or Shine, Safety First

The Woodward Dream Show takes place rain or shine, and the most current COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place during the outdoor event. The Woodward Dream Show is the first of two major automotive enthusiast events coming to the M1 Concourse this year.
