Troy, MI, February, 2020 – For the third consecutive year, Kemp Klein has come together to craft hand-tied fleece blankets for Common Ground’s clients. Common Ground distributes these as comfort items for children, victims of trauma, homeless, and other families and individuals in need of assistance.

Kemp Klein has maintained an ongoing relationship with Common Ground over the past 13 years.  In addition to contributing as a Legacy Society Benefactor, donating goods, etc., Kemp Klein has provided in excess of $200,000 in pro bono work to the organization.

Funded by the generosity of our employees, The Kemp Klein Foundation was founded 25 years ago to provide support to charitable organizations and promote volunteerism within our community. Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed over $500,000 to hundreds of worthwhile causes.

About Common Ground:

Common Ground is the product of a 1998 merger of two agencies, Common Ground and The Sanctuary, Inc., that had served Oakland County since the early 1970s. The merger allowed those in the community experiencing a crisis a single source of help while enabling both organizations to expand their services significantly. Today, Common Ground is a 24-hour crisis services agency dedicated to helping youths, adults, and families in crisis. Through their crisis line and in person, they provide professional and compassionate service to more than 80,000 people each year. Additional information can be found at
