To date, we have never closed our doors or walked away when people needed our help. Right now, during this pandemic, we will continue to welcome and serve people who need us.

Easterseals Michigan continues to offer mental health services, despite the Coronavirus pandemic that’s wreaking havoc throughout the world. We have adapted, extensively trained staff in preventative measures and pushed our best innovations and expert staff to the forefront of service delivery. We didn’t wait around for instructions on how to handle this crisis, rather we jumped into action with telehealth services, setting up staff to work remotely and training staff that continue to provide home-based services throughout the community. If you are without work right now and want to talk with a therapist, contact us at 800-75-SEALS.

But this isn’t about us. This is about you, your family, your loved ones, your co-workers, your friends, and even your pets. I’m sure everyone’s mental health is likely suffering a bit right now with increased anxiety and worry. We’re all in uncharted waters trying to figure out how to best manage being home-bound while working, teaching our children, taking care of loved ones and supporting those in the community who are providing essential services every day. Not to mention, we’re all keeping a very close eye on our fragile economy, lost jobs and the strain on medical systems and supplies. It’s a very scary time right now, but we’re here with you and we will get through this together!

Our Easterseals family is only as good as our partners. If you’re in a financial position to help, please be our partner in helping save lives during this crisis with a generous donation. Your gift will make an impact far beyond those you help today, but will also help those suffering from the aftermath of this crisis in the months to come.
