  5. Regional-Wide Community Request for Blood Donations

    Versiti, Blood Center of Michigan will be issuing an EMERGENCY APPEAL for blood donations beginning Tuesday, Feb. 5. Our blood collections have been impacted by unprecedented weather conditions – consecutive snow storms and recent frigid temps, as well as an outbreak of the flu. In the month of January, 80 of our Michigan blood drives were cancelled, resulting in a loss of more than 3,000 potential donations.
