Goals and Objectives of the Troy Chamber’s Non-Profit Network (NPN)
GOALS:
- To insure economic vitality of the non-profit community
- To increase the capacity of Chamber member, non-profit organizations
- To enrich the business community by providing the opportunity to invest in and partner with the non-profit community
- To instill the belief the non-profits are businesses too
- To create a culture of commitment to the non-profit community
- To increase the businesses’ effectiveness in serving the community
- To improve efficiency among the non-profit community
OBJECTIVES:
- Collaborate with the Chamber
- Work on partnership development
- Discuss challenges of raising money in the community
- Learn from each other
- Explore creative new avenues to reach the business community
- Share individual expertise with each other
- Learn how to deal with a Board of Directors
- Collaborate on events to raise money and find new revenue streams
- Have a bigger voice collectively
