Recap from 9th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference
The 9th Annual Nonprofit Management Conference, presented by Huntington Bank’s Seeds for Success, was held Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Walsh College, 3838 Livernois, Troy. This affordable, day-long management conference was designed for nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers. Attendees had the opportunity to choose one of six seminars at each of the morning breakout session times. With seminars ranging from social media for nonprofits and accounting best practices to fundraising and effective speaking, attendees received information to help them improve their operations in seven core areas specifically geared toward nonprofit organizations: Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Strategic Planning, Technology, Fund Development/Donor Relations, Staff Training & Volunteer Relations, and Leadership/Board Development.
